Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 520391), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in epidemiology or a related discipline, with a strong background in infectious disease epidemiology, surveillance and control. They should have excellent communication skills, experience in knowledge sharing, a strong record of research output, and the ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team. Relevant research and work experience in infectious disease epidemiology would be desirable. 

The appointees will work with a research team to study transmission of respiratory infections in the community, analyse large and complex datasets, and perform other duties as assigned. They will work semi-independently under the supervisor and mentorship of senior academic staff, and will have opportunities to present and publish their own research findings to their peers.
