About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Researcher to join the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (MDHS) to support Graduate Research Development and training to prepare todays graduate researchers for a successful graduate experience and employment of their choice in tomorrow’s jobs.

The position will support all Graduate Researchers enrolled in MDHS by working with key stakeholders to deliver and evaluate MDHS Graduate Research programs, assist with implementing industry-based PhD internships and contribute to programs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee development and coordination of MDHS Graduate Researcher professional development programs.
  • Conduct analysis of MDHS Graduate Researcher professional development programs outputs and report these outcomes to the MDHS ADGR, Deputy Dean and Dean.
  • Oversee the development of MDHS Graduate Research Supervisor and Advisory Chair training.
  • Contribute to the MDHS strategic plan, especially with regards to Graduate Researcher development

Who We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in academic leadership and management in Graduate Research. Additionally, you will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet goals.

You will also have:

  • PhD in a field relevant to health.
  • Evidence of experience in evaluating, and reporting outcomes of, activities that support Graduate Researcher development.
  • Demonstrated understanding of opportunities for collaboration within the University, and external partners and sectors, to promote Graduate Research.
