Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities (JSLH)

The Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities (JSLH) is India’s First transnational humanities school. Founded in 2013, JSLH is the fifth school of the University and is at the centre of the vibrant intellectual life of JGU.  The school provides an interdisciplinary liberal arts education of a global standard. The aim is to educate young adults to become informed citizens of the world who are best equipped to solve the complex problems of our times, approaching them from multiple perspectives and with creativity. Faculty chosen from some of the best institutions across the world facilitate rigorous classroom study combined with experiential learning. JSLH offer four different degree options i.e. B.A. (Hons.)

Liberal Arts & Humanities, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons.), Post Graduate Diploma in Research and Innovation, B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology.

The Jindal School of Psychology and Counselling (JSPC)

Jindal School of Psychology &Counselling (JSPC), India's First Transdisciplinary Psychology School and is the 10th school of Jindal Global University. JSPC is established on the strong disciplinary foundation of Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS), O.P. Jindal Global University. JSPC aims to nurture a vibrant academic and research culture and seeks to leverage the university's internationally accomplished faculty and innovative interdisciplinary curriculum. JSPC students will benefit from the strong culture of interdisciplinary research and learning,practical exposure and hands-on application. The courses jointly provided by Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS) and the Jindal School of Psychology & Counselling (JSPC) are B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology and M.A./M.Sc. degree in Applied Psychology.

We invite applications for suitable faculty positions for Psychology in the Jindal School of Psychology and Counselling (JSPC) and T Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities (JSLH).

Expertise in specializations of Clinical Psychology, Social/ Community Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and Forensic/Investigative Psychology would be preferred.


We are hiring at all levels, including Professors/ Associate Professors and Lecturers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Faculty members will be expected to teach undergraduate / graduate courses, mentor students and engage in Institute and university level activities. Faculty will also oversee internship programmes, seek out collaborations, and contribute to global and local challenges related to psychology and mental health.

We are especially interested in candidates who have demonstrated excellence in research, teaching and possess the communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with an increasingly diverse array of students and colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Psychology or related discipline at time of application.
  • Undergraduate-level teaching experience in Psychology or related fields.
  • Published research in professional peer-reviewed journal(s). 

Knowledge & Abilities:

The successful candidate must demonstrate depth of knowledge in the field of psychology, as well as the:

  • Ability to effectively communicate and work collegially and productively with colleagues;
  • Ability to effectively engage and teach students with a wide range of skills, motivation, academic and vocational goals;
  • Ability to promote innovation, teaching, learning and service to a diverse student population; 
  • Ability to participate in the development of curriculum and assess student learning outcomes;
  • Ability to maintain an active research career, resulting in two or more publications per year.
