This is an exciting opportunity to join the HR recruitment team at King’s College London. We are seeking to appoint multiple experienced and highly motivated HR Coordinators to provide support to the recruitment and operations teams with a range of tasks and to day-to-day activities.

About the role

The majority of the postholder’s time will be spent carrying out end-to-end recruitment and onboarding administration but the postholder will also be expected to assist with HR operations and changes to employee lifecycles as required. The successful applicant will provide efficient operational support across teams and will be able to work at pace.

About you

The ideal candidate will be highly organised and meticulous supporting recruitment across numerous school faculties and handling any general day to day enquires. Communication and forging relationships are key in excelling in this role.

It would be advantageous for applicants to have a working knowledge of HR operations and recruitment. Experience with MS Office including Excel, SharePoint and MS Teams will also be beneficial.

This role is highly varied and will suit a candidate with excellent organisational skills who can work accurately, with close attention to detail in a busy environment with tight deadlines. They will have excellent communication skills and be able to develop good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the university.

This post will be offered as a permanent position. You will be required to attend the office a minimum of two days a week, or additional days as per the requirements of the role.

This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.

We expect interviews to take place week commencing 5th June.

  Key responsibilities

  • To take responsibility for the end-to-end HR administration process ensuring that employees and managers always receive a standout service, and that all documentation and correspondence is accurate and presentable.
  • To use internal communication platforms to respond to queries within agreed Service Level timeframes.
  • To ensure data accuracy on the HR Digital Services and employee records data storage platforms.
  • To develop a personal knowledge of HR best practice, including employment law and pay processes in accordance with internal and external policies and procedures (e.g ACAS).
  • To manage and prioritise large workloads with varying tasks and deadlines.
  • To collaborate with, support, and assist other members of the wider HR, Finance and Corporate Services hub to ensure the best possible service to our stakeholders.
  • To support on key projects and audits as required to continually improve and adapt the service.
  • To building strong relationships with key stakeholders (across all sites at King’s).
  • To be responsible for meeting and exceeding SLA expectations set out by HR Service Level Agreements.
  • To operate flexibly within the department to meet peak and changing requirements throughout the year.
