Roles & Responsibilities

The NUS Global Asia Institute (GAI) is looking for a full-time Research Assistant to assist the researchers at GAI carrying out research in food science; human behavior related to healthcare, environment, and other fields.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and is able to meet food wholesalers and distributors locally and regionally. We hope you are a dynamic go-getter, an out-of-the-box thinker, and someone who values autonomy and flexibility.

The candidate will collaborate closely with a team of world-class behavioral and data scientists. Working in this position would provide the Research Assistant with hands-on experience in running field experiments, and managing big research projects.

Salary benefits will commensurate with skill set, experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in food science, from a reputable institution.

Candidates should have a strong interest or background in the business and economics of the fruit industry.

Candidates should be organized, meticulous and detail-oriented.
