Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow/ Senior Research Assistant (several posts) in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 520411), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or Master's degree in dentistry, physical science, mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology or materials science. They should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team with materials scientists and dentists; be keen on new technologies and dental devices; and possess good analytical, problem solving and communication skills with strong learning initiatives. Experience in scientific publications and competitive grants application is desirable. Those with a Master’s degree may be considered for the post of Senior Research Assistant.
The appointees will be responsible for translational study in terms of clinical trial, experiment design, data analysis, 3D CAD, 3D printing and milling, mechanical/chemistry laboratory or computational work, as well as preparation of manuscripts. They will take an independent role in building up the technology and devices in pursuit of advancement in dental research; and perform research administrative duties as required.
