Teaching Assistant, EDIC

Job Description

We are seeking a candidate with strong mechanical and electronics hands-on experience to help engineering design students with their projects. The candidate needs to be able to teach students best engineering practices, have the ability to spot problems with the students’ designs, and help students troubleshoot and solve problems with their prototypes. The candidate will also help to teach a class in Fundamentals of Systems Design on integrating mechanical design, electronics and software into integrated engineering systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent. 
  • Extensive experience with hands-on projects.
  • Able to establish good rapport with students with different backgrounds and skillsets.
