Position Summary:
The primary focus of this search is for a candidate that can exhibit inventiveness and expertise in teaching design studio at all levels, 1st year principles courses, and graduate theory seminars. The architecture program is seeking candidates who can communicate the power of effective design in their own work, be able to discuss the intellectual investments of both their work and their design pedagogy and provide examples of innovative approaches to design teaching. We hold in the highest regard those candidates who not only exemplify the qualities described above, but who are energetic, collegial, and highly motivated to contribute to the greater good of a successful and dynamic architecture program.Responsibilities: The teaching load will be 12 credits per semester (e.g. design studio and 2 additional courses)(1) Teaching design studios at undergraduate and graduate-level and levels; (2) teaching required graduate theory seminars; (3) advising assigned architecture students (4) serving on CAA committees as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
· Experience teaching in postsecondary setting in architecture field


Preferred Qualifications:
· Professional registrations- American Institute of Architecture
· On-going high-quality creative practice
