It not only consumes considerable amounts of resources, but also represents a central enabler for more environmentally friendly products and services through more efficient manufacturing technologies. Planning plays a special role here, as it determines over 80% of the subsequent resource and energy requirements. At our working group, we research and develop methods and technologies to leverage this ecological potential in an economically viable way.

Tasks: Developing/researching ML-based methods and modeling techniques for manufacturing planning of the future is your mission!
