Applications are invited for appointment as Part-time Lecturer (holding the title of Differentiated Instruction Plan Supervisor) (several posts) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 520184), to commence as soon as possible to August 31, 2024.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in a relevant discipline, with at least 3 years’ relevant post-qualification teaching experience at primary, secondary and/or tertiary level, preferably in the local context. They should have extensive experience in providing support on lesson planning for local teachers, as well as in reviewing and endorsing lesson plans.

The appointees will work for the Second Phase of the Jockey Club “Diversity at Schools” project with a focus on differentiated instruction (DI) under the Faculty of Education. They will support local primary and/or secondary teachers in verifying and giving feedback on their DI instructional strategies on lesson planning and related teaching materials, and validate the DI lesson plans through on-site/virtual lesson observation. They are expected to collaborate closely with the project team and project schools to use a digitalized differentiated instruction lesson planning platform and support professional exchanges and networking. They will also support the team to collect and identify good DI practices and examples for knowledge exchange and dissemination.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
