UCL is currently looking to appoint their next Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences. This post will be responsible for delivering the Faculty’s academic mission; including strategic leadership and management of the Faculty to drive high quality outcomes for students, an excellent experience for staff, significant advances in research, increases in revenue, and to further improve the Faculty’s standing on the international stage. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to join a globally pre-eminent Faculty who are leading the way in solving real world problems. 

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate exceptional academic leadership, a proven ability to navigate a large complex organisation, and a commitment to furthering the Faculty’s research standing. They will offer excellent personal organisation skills, and strategic flair. An appreciation for the changes affecting world-leading Higher Education institutions will be important, as will an alignment with UCL’s ethos, mission, and values.
