You will use your considerable skills and experience to manufacture complex and high precision project and research work, making components from a range of materials including but not limited to Wood, GRP and Carbon-Fibre, using a range of conventional machine and hand tools.
To be successful you will have experience of working in an engineering environment producing components for a range of uses. In addition, you will have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to work to tight tolerances and be comfortable in independently producing bespoke one off component parts to Engineering drawings.
You will have a strong interest in our design, education and research; working at the forefront of one of the UK's leading Universities manufacturing parts that will be used in all environments from beneath the oceans to outer space and everything in between.
