About us
The Department of Economics at the University of Southampton is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Economics, with research interests in any area of Economics/Econometrics, and a commitment to excellence in research and teaching.

About you
Expectations from the post holder include developing and maintaining a high-quality research agenda that leads to publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and grant applications; teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; research supervision at Masters and PhD levels and contributing to departmental and university administration. Successful applicants should have a PhD in Economics or an equivalent qualification and be able to satisfy all the essential criteria detailed in the job description.
The successful candidate will be expected to start in October 2023, but a later starting date may be negotiable.
