The Centre for Defence Chemistry / Environmental Science and Research Support Group covers a wide range of teaching and research.
About the Role
You will deliver and develop MOD environmental management and safety courses, including a hazardous materials course, to the specifications of the course sponsor. To enable high quality education for MOD environmental officers and safety operators. Also, to help grow the research output of the Environmental Sciences Team to enable publication of peer-reviewed papers, and successful research grant applications.
You will have an environmental science or engineering degree/higher degree or equivalent. Experience of presenting/teaching technical subjects at A-level or above and organising courses is essential, along with laboratory experience, particularly in handling explosives. You will have a strong background in organic/environmental engineering and knowledge of environmental management.
