About the role

The Healthy Regions InterVEntion (THRIVE) is a program of research focusing on the prevention and management of chronic illnesses. The Research Fellow will take a leadership role in the THRIVE program and related research projects.

You will:

  • take a lead role in the psychosocial aspects of the THRIVE program and related projects;
  • support the THRIVE leadership team in the conduct and reporting of research across the THRIVE program and related projects;
  • lead the coordination and recruitment of participants (and other stakeholders) for intervention studies, surveys, focus groups and interviews; and
  • undertake supervision/mentorship of honours students, research higher degree students and visiting industry Senior Research Fellows.

About you

The Research Fellow will work with the THRIVE Project Leadership team and will liaise with stakeholders and research partners on the project and other members of the University.

You will possess:

  • a doctorate qualification with at least three years postdoctoral experience;
  • research experience shown through peer reviewed publications and presentations in the  fields of chronic disease, mental health, ageing, digital health, behaviour change; and
  • ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, collaborate effectively and engage with diverse stakeholders and industry partners.
