Our Student Experience department is instrumental in us achieving such high student satisfaction levels. They provide our students with access to immediate support and advice on student life related queries, opportunities for dialogue with the University and our Students’ Union.
Your role will involve working as part of the Student Experience Department to deliver student focused advice and guidance to students on a range of funding and financial matters. This role requires an enthusiastic, self- motivated individual that can multi- task, with the ability to work effectively under pressure, both individually and as part of a team. Experience of implementing and working with various polices is essential.
This role is fixed-term for 12 months and the post holder will work 18 hours per week, ideally on a Wednesday morning, a Thursday and a Friday.
The post holder will undertake specialist and complex casework providing expert, high quality information and guidance to applicants and students on statutory and discretionary funding. You will also provide support and guidance to staff within the University in respect of a range of advice matters, including finance and funding regulations.
This role is expected to contribute to the provision of a professional and specialist advice and guidance service to all students, to encourage their academic progress and student retention.
