About the role

You will lead the strategic management of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global and Engagement). In addition, you will coordinate and undertake high priority projects and initiatives aligned with the University’s strategic priorities and objectives, in addition to providing strategic advice to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global and Engagement).

You will:

  • drive the Global and Engagement portfolio’s strategic and business planning process;
  • work closely with the corporate functions of the University to ensure effective and efficient ongoing operations of the portfolio and project operations;
  • work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to contribute and implement the University’s strategy to grow new business; and
  • identify, scope, develop, lead and manage projects relating to strategic priorities and business initiatives.

About you

You will possess extensive knowledge and understanding of the Australian and international tertiary sector. You will have proven ability in developing and executing strategic and operational business plans and policy and the delivery of these within timeframes and budget. In addition, you will have excellent project management skills with a proven record of successfully managing all aspects of projects through to completion.

You will possess:

  • exemplary relationship management and consulting skills;
  • extensive experience of strategic, conceptual and analytical skills;
  • highly developed planning and organisational skills; and
  • demonstrated high level problem-solving skills and ability to develop and implement innovative approaches.
