The Marketing and Student Recruitment team at University of the West of Scotland has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, proactive and enthusiastic Senior Marketing Business Partner.

You will work closely with Senior Marketing and Student Recruitment colleagues to design and deliver integrated marketing activities and campaigns in support of student recruitment, and the University’s wider strategic aims and objectives.

You will liaise with internal clients across academic schools and professional service areas, to proactively deliver insight-led marketing activities designed to attract domestic and international students; from awareness-raising through to enrolment. You will project-manage and deliver integrated, omni-channel campaigns that raise UWS’s reputation with prospective applicants and their direct influencers.

You will use market insight and competitor analysis, to inform your approach to delivering data-led marketing approaches tailored to the needs and desires of potential UWS students, throughout the applicant lifecycle.

The successful candidate should have the following:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably including a marketing element.
  • Experience of developing and managing innovative marketing and communication plans tailored to a wide variety of stakeholder needs and in line with an organisation’s strategic plan.
  • Proven track record in effective integrated campaign delivery, encompassing messaging frameworks, collateral and events.
  • Evidence of successful development and delivery of marketing collateral across all channels and for various audiences, under overarching brand.
  • Experience of establishing and managing effective relationships with senior internal, and external, stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience of proactively identifying opportunities to build organisational reputation through strategic marketing programmes.
  • Experience of providing specialist advice and guidance with respect to marketing approaches, especially at a senior level or to those with non-marketing backgrounds.
