Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor (RAP)/Post-doctoral Fellow (PDF) in Medical Imaging and AI Research in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref: 519793) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis for RAP, or for a period of two years on temporary terms for PDF, with the possibility of renewal.)

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree related to fields of Medical Imaging, Data Science, and/or AI. They should have a track record in publications and grant applications related to these research areas. Those with relevant post-doctoral work experience and an excellent publication track record may be considered for appointment as RAP.

The appointee will work in a multidisciplinary environment that requires exceptional research and problem-solving skills.  He/She will be provided with the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art deep learning techniques. He/She also needs to write scientific publications, grant proposals and reports; and assist in general administrative, operational and other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment at RAP level on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
