About the role

The Chief Executive will provide overall strategic vision, leadership, direction and management to the College and its staff. You will ensure strategies and business plans are delivered on time and within budget as agreed by the Board and maintain open and effective communications with the Trustees at all times.

Fostering and embedding a strong people-centred culture, the Chief Executive will provide effective leadership for and support the performance and development of the senior leadership team and staff across the College. The Chief Executive will also act as a lead fundraiser, working closely with the Development Director to continue and develop the high-level support work that maintains the College. You will build strong links with a range of stakeholders within the British Muslim community and beyond to raise the profile of the College and help deliver its mission, as well as develop strategic partnerships with academic and non-academic institutions to advance the College’s work.
