This full-time, continuing appointment is based at the JCU Townsville Bebegu Yumba Campus, Douglas.

How you’ll make a difference

The Senior Lecturer, Clinical Dentistry manages JCU Dental in Townsville, overseeing the Bachelor of Dental Surgery students in their last year of the program and ensuring that they meet the required competencies to graduate. This role includes clinical teaching and assessment as well as clinical leadership in implementing and ensuring that all clinical and infection control policies and procedures are adhered to by clinical supervisors and students.

What you’ll bring 

As a senior academic clinician,you will have a degree qualification in dentistry, full registration as a Dentist with the Dental Board of Australia and hold or are eligible to obtain, a radiography licence with the State of Queensland.With strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to working as a member of a cohesive, like-minded team, you will grow your career in a supportive and flexible environment which brings out the best of you professionally and provides you with personal satisfaction knowing you are contributing to educating the Dentists of the future.
