Short Description Job Description

The successful candidate will handle the e-learning and web development initiatives at the School of Humanities and Behavioural Sciences (SHBS). The candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work with academics, students, and other administrative executives. He/she is expected to multitask with attention to detail in order to handle various administrative and IT tasks and projects efficiently within given timelines. The following are duties that the successful candidate is expected to perform but not limited to:

  • Provide educational and IT support for the school's e-learning initiatives
  • Assist the faculty in the use of e-learning tools and educational technology
  • Work closely with and advise academics on the use of multimedia/interactive element and handle various e-learning projects
  • Build websites/microsites and infrastructures and to create interactive and well-designed multimedia platforms for the various projects
  • Provide technical and/or administrative support for school and university activities 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in IT/Multimedia or related disciplines
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in IT/Multimedia/Website Development and/or e-Learning
  • Good project management and IT/Multimedia skills
  • Resourceful team player who is able to work independently and learn on the job
  • Possess good communications and interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English
  • Mature, meticulous and possess high level of discretion and integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe software e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
  • Experience in graphic design preferred
