The University of Greenwich is seeking to recruit an Executive Officer to provide direct support to the Chief Financial Officer. This role may appeal to someone who is experienced in providing complex administrative support.
The role holder will provide a central co-ordinating link between the CFO and the Finance Directorate. The role will actively engage and work with VCO Executive Assistant community to share best practice.
You will be a self-starting individual who can take responsibility for their own workload whilst managing the diaries and day to day requirements of senior members of the Finance Directorate.
The successful candidate will have the ability to remain calm under pressure, work well as part of a team, and have the experience of providing high standard of secretarial and administrative support. You will also be aware of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and data protection issues within an executive work environment.
You will pro-actively build a network of contacts essential to your work, both inside and outside the University. Excellent communication skills, in person, on the telephone and in writing are essential to the post, as is a calm, polite and professional manner.
You will be able to work flexibly and confidentially, using discretion and sound judgement to respond to a varied workload.
