Role Description

Leadership, as an academic discipline, is central to many of the activities undertaken by the School of Management. The Full-Time and Executive MBA programmes have a strong focus on developing leaders, as do several of the Masters level programmes. Our School works with a number of global organisations in developing their senior leaders. At this exciting and expansive time for Cranfield, it is therefore essential that we continue to press forward and develop innovative thought leadership in this area.

This is a fantastic senior academic leadership role, where you will be joining our inclusive community of true research excellence and institutional prestige, and a world leader in management education and research. You will have the scope and opportunity in the role not just to drive excellence in research and education, but also in creatively designing and developing new areas of leadership as a discipline.

We invite you to take a look at the video interview with Professor Richard Kwiatkowski, Professor of Organisational Psychology and Head of the Applied Psychology and Organisational Behaviour Group, and Professor Emma Parry, Professor of Human Resource Management and Head of the Changing World of Work Group, who both provide further insight into why this role is a genuine differentiator in the field of Leadership.
