Applications are invited for the following full-time position in the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health:

Research Associate (Grant Manager)

We are seeking a grant manager to join Health Intervention and Policy Evaluation Research (HIPER), a research centre situated in the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore.

The job holder will be an integral part of several research grants with key responsibilities which include:

  • Maintaining grant compliance and reporting, demonstrating high standards of effectiveness, timeliness, and completeness in the below responsibilities
  • Monitoring and maintaining grantor reporting schedules and requirements.
  • Tracking progress toward grant outcomes and goals.
  • Submitting budget forecasts and claims to grantors.
  • Drafting progress reports and targeted updates (e.g. steering committee presentation decks) to grantors that fully capture grant success.
  • Acting as point of contact for grantors.
  • Maintaining library of grant support documents including CVs, study team list, financial conflict of interest information, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The job holder will work closely with Associate Professor Wee Hwee Lin, as well as our grantors, research office and finance team.

This full-time position is at the Research Associate grade and based at the Tahir Foundation Building at the National University of Singapore. The position has a 1 year contract in the first instance and may be extended subject to staff performance and fund availability.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in any discipline.
  • Strong administrative skills and self-motivated with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks under minimal supervision in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Experience with grant management and budgeting will be an added advantage.
  • Very good written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Intermediate to expert skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
