The specific responsibilities include:

  • Assist and lead research projects (some topics include commuting and well-being; job search, impact of IT on work, workplace health)
  • Recruit and coordinate with participants on project interviews/ surveys
  • Conduct literature review
  • Conduct face-to-face interviews and administer surveys on study participants
  • Collect, compile and analyse data at various stages of the study
  • Attend and contribute to research project meetings and discussions
  • Support research design
  • Draft research papers, reviews and reports

Other administrative duties include but are not limited to checking references, formatting manuscripts, preparing statistical tables and figures, looking up for research papers, administer field experiments, organizing contacts, inputting and checking data, etc.


  1. Able to start work soonest possible
  2. Preferably has experience in research work/ Honors thesis;
  3. Ability to write well and has good communication skills
  4. Is diligent, motivated, conscientious, with a professional attitude towards work
  5. Quick in learning and creative in providing solutions;
  6. Independent, self-starter with initiative and commitment
  7. Knowledge of using statistical software such as R, SPSS, STATA, or SAS;
  8. Mastery of word and excel;
  9. Graduate/ graduating student. An undergraduate degree in psychology, social sciences, or other related fields. A master’s degree in relevant fields is a merit. If you are a PhD student, please DO not apply

More Information

Appointments will be on a term-contract of approximately 6-10 months, and renewable when necessary. Remuneration is on a monthly basis. Salary will commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, track record, potential, experience.
