Job Description

  1. Develop the electronics hardware for the spacecraft subsystems and payloads
  2. Generate the hardware specifications based on the system requirements and define the interface protocol between subsystems and payloads
  3. Generate test specifications to verify the system operations, and ensure reliability
  4. Perform development and functional testing
  5. Work with team members to ensure the smooth integration of various subsystems
  6. Document all processes and implementation
  7. Manage tasks according to project schedule
  8. Selection and qualification of components for spacecraft applications
    1. Design and evaluate prototypes
    2. Code and debug in embedded C 
  9. PCB design compliant to EMI/EMC requirements
  10. Perform EMI/EMC testing and troubleshooting
  11. Work with the mechanical engineers to define the optimum harnessing requirements and specifications
  12. Work closely with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors

Qualifications

  1. Master degree in Engineering from a reputable university.
  2. 2 or more years of relevant work experience
  3. Fluent verbal and written communication. 
  4. Experience in power electronic circuits and embedded systems
  5. Good understanding in embedded systems and able to program in embedded C
  6. Experience in various interface buses such as CAN, SPI, I2C
  7. Practical hands-on skills (debugging, troubleshooting, soldering, harnessing) to support the hardware development and testing
  8. Team-oriented individual with good inter-personal, reporting and communication skills
  9. Open to fixed-term contract
