The Outreach and Educational Partnerships Team, based within UK Student Recruitment, is seeking to appoint a permanent Outreach Project Lead.
The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly to deliver in-person and virtual events and activities with key schools, colleges and community groups. The post holder would also be expected to attend our Avery Hill Campus, and other campuses as required, including supporting and delivering on campus outreach events, Open Days and attending key team meetings. This role would also include working evenings and occasional weekends.
This role sits within a busy and dynamic team of widening participation and student recruitment specialists who develop and deliver university progression support to diverse audiences of prospective students and young people across target schools, colleges and community groups. The ideal candidate will require:
- Experience of Higher Education, UK education system and UCAS
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- A strong interest in making a positive impact to support students to be able to make informed choices regarding their future career options.
- Ability to coordinate the development, delivery and implementation of key outreach project areas
