Research Assistant / Research Engineer in the Division of Engineering, Dr. Michail Maniatakos

The Modern Microprocessors Architecture laboratory in the Division of Engineering, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Research Associate / Research Engineer / Research Assistant to work on cybersecurity research. The candidate will work in one of the following 3 topics: 1) Acceleration of Fully Homomorphic Encryption, 2) Industrial Control Systems security, and 3) Machine Learning security. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students, and undergraduate students.

Applicants must have a B.Sc. or an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.  Excellent research skills relevant to the project are required.  

For consideration, applicants need to submit a cover letter explicitly mentioning the research theme they want to work on, from the 3 topics presented earlier. An application with a cover letter that does not explicitly mention the topic will not be considered. Also, a curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests aligned to the selected research topic and three referee names also need to be submitted. Letters will be required only if the candidate is shortlisted. All documents have to be submitted in PDF format.

The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children.
