Job Description:

The Writing Program at the University of San Diego is accepting applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach First Year Writing (FYW). Applicants will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will be contacted as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities - include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching FYW classes, participating in faculty workshops at the beginning of each semester
• Holding regular office hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's Degree or higher with experience teaching academic writing, rhetoric, and composition at the college level.
• Experience teaching preparatory writing and non-native speakers of English is also highly desired.
