Cleaning Supervisor - REQ002024

Part Time, 16 Hours per week, Permanent

University of the West of Scotland is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to join the Department of Campus Services.  In this busy and rewarding role, the successful candidate will be enthusiastic; have excellent communication skills; pride themselves on attention to detail; and work well as part of our successful Cleaning Services function.

The post will be based at the University of the West of Scotland’s Paisley Campus and will provide support the Cleaning Team Leader in delivery of a high quality, customer focused and efficient cleaning service ensuring a safe, clean, hygienic and welcoming environment for all customers (facilities users).

A good standard of education, preferably with Mathematics and English, is required and previous experience working in a customer focused role delivering a cleaning service, along with experience of allocating and monitoring work in a cleaning environment are essential.   The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of current Health and Safety regulations, legislation and practice.

  • Hours of duty are: Monday – Thursday (16:45 -20:00) and Friday (17:00-20:00)
