Applications are invited for temporary post of a Schools' Administrator within Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechanical and Materials Engineering
The Schools' Administrator role is a new administrative position within the Schools of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechanical and Materials Engineering, designed to contribute to the administration of the growing demands on the joint Schools' Office. Both Schools are each led by a Head of School and together comprise over 170 staff and over 200 research students, with modules from both Schools forming the core teaching for over 15 undergraduate and graduate taught programmes across the College of Engineering and Architecture. Both Schools are supported by one administrative office and the necessity for this new post has come about as a result of the ongoing expansion and development of the teaching and learning, and research, innovation and impact portfolios in both Schools. The Schools now wish to appoint jointly a Schools' Administrator to support the work of the Operations Manager and to contribute to the overall smooth functioning of the Schools' Office.
95 Administrative Officer Ii\2010 Salary Scale: 47,109 - 60,335 per annum (pro rata if applicable)
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
