Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor & President, the PVC Education & Experience provides strategic and operational leadership to optimize all outcomes and inputs to student success. The PVC (E&E) is the process owner for all elements of student success and the ability to work collaboratively with related portfolios and services will be critical. The PVC Education & Experience is accountable for the delivery of a highest quality student experience for every student, ensuring each student is supported and enabled to realise their potential. In alignment with the Chief Student Officer will lead on the delivery of UEL’s ‘Future Graduate’ strategic objective of the University’s Vision 2028. 

The successful applicant will have an inclusive, determined and inspirational approach to leadership, encouraging ideas, initiative and innovation in others whilst establishing a cost-effective and high-performance culture based on continuous improvement. They must be able to build strong and purposeful internal and external stakeholder relationships with partners and potential partners and play a key strategic role in enabling the University to fulfil its potential.

A member of the University Executive Board, the PVC (E&E), qualified to Doctoral level, will lead student success; education and experience; and institutional equity.   The precise reporting lines for the role are currently under review as part of establishing the new role of Chief Student Officer at the University.
