The Talent Acquisition team within our Human Resources department plays an integral role in attracting talents and building talent pipeline for the university.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to implement end-to-end hiring processes, nurture trusting relationships with potential hires and play an advisory role to the internal hiring managers.

Ultimately, you play a crucial role in the Department’s overall effort in building a strong employer brand for SUSS.

Job Description

  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs as well as selection criteria
  • Source potential candidates through existing channels as well as propose new and untapped channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Be the Go-To person in implementing end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates
  • Coordinate with hiring managers the interview and selection procedures, including assessments and face-to-face or online interviews
  • Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders in creating reports with data and analytics

Job Requirements

  • Proven 5 years of work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in an in-house recruitment role
  • Familiarity with using Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
