The appointee will be required to teach the course “Ethics: The Chinese Tradition” at undergraduate level in Term 2, 2022-23. Please find the course details here: https://www.ln.edu.hk/philoso/programme/info/22-23/PHI3232.pdf. The medium of instruction can be Cantonese or English.

General Requirements

Candidates should preferably have a doctoral degree in Philosophy with relevant teaching experience. We particularly welcome candidates working on Chinese philosophy and ethics. Applicants are required to provide information on their evidence of quality teaching. The appointee should be able to take up teaching duties, prepare and score formative and summative student assignments, and be available to join programme committees discussing examination matters as appropriate. Applicants with an MA degree, equipped with substantial teaching would also be actively considered.

Appointment

The conditions of appointment will be competitive. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term basis.
