Surrey Research Park

Surrey Research Park is a first-class 70-acre science and technology park, owned by the University of Surrey. It is home to around 200 businesses from start-ups to multinationals, with an immense impact, contributing almost £620 million gross value added for the UK economy.

The Role

This role will ensure you are immersed in an exciting and entrepreneurial environment, working alongside the wider team at SRP, including our incubation hub, SETsquared. The environment at SRP of fast-growing companies that are making internationally acclaimed, innovative breakthroughs provides the opportunity to work in an inspirational and impactful place that will present many opportunities for a pro-active and ambitious marketer.

The Marketing and Engagement Manager will manage the delivery of the marketing strategy and help with the roll out of the new brand.

You will be a key player within the team at Surrey Research Park in developing relationships and managing effective communication across all marketing channels, with particular focus on building the Park’s digital and social media presence and growing engagement between the tenant businesses, local business community and the University of Surrey.

The Person

We are looking for someone with a marketing background who is well organised, enthusiastic and thrives on variety and is happy to work autonomously and as part of the wider Research Park team. Ideally, you will have experience of working across the whole marketing mix in digital, social and event management preferably.  This role will provide the right person with the opportunity to learn and develop as part of a motivated and enthusiastic team, working in an interesting entrepreneurial environment.
