The Faculty of Engineering & Science is one of four faculties at the University of Greenwich and is dedicated to inspirational learning, combining teaching with work placements and impactful research. We are seeking to recruit a Postgraduate Placement Liaison Officer to support our MSc with Industrial Practice Programmes and students.

The successful candidates will be passionate about careers, employability, and working with international students. Working with our external placement partners, you will help guide students through their employability journey to successfully secure a one-year placement, providing confidential, sympathetic, and helpful advice before, during, and after the placement.

The post holder will oversee the approval and rejection of proposed placements, ensuring the placement is compliant with UKVI and other University regulations. The role holder will be expected to help develop and establish MSc Industrial Practice strategy to include long term planning to enhance the student experience.

This student facing role combines the need for excellent administrative skills, an organised approach, attention to detail, and the ability to develop good relationships with university students, staff, and our external placement partners.

The successful candidates must hold a Degree level or relevant qualification and experience around student-careers and employability.

The Faculty of Engineering & Science is located on both Medway and Greenwich Campuses; however, the role will be located at Medway Campus.
