An exciting opportunity exists to join our highly regarded Dentistry discipline responsible for producing work ready graduates and preparing professionals to practice in urban, rural and regional community settings.

Support students development of pre-clinical and clinical skills in the Universitys state-of-the-art teaching facilities, including the Simulation clinic, Dental Technology and Anatomy laboratories, and the Charles Sturt Dental and Oral Health clinics.

Actively contribute to teaching, research and curriculum development, teaching a range of relevant subjects. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to develop and progress an active research profile aligned to the strategic direction of the School.

This position is offered as a full-time continuing position on the Orange campus, but a part-time appointment may be negotiated with the successful applicant. Generous financial assistance is available to help you relocate to take up this leadership opportunity.

The opportunity to provide clinical services in the Charles Sturt Oral Health and Dental Clinics upon negotiation with the Dean of Dentistry and Oral Health and the Clinical Director may be considered.

To be successful you will have:

  • Evidence of full registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
  • A doctoral qualification, relevant to the discipline or evidence of equivalent accreditation, expertise and standing in clinical dentistry
  • A record of significant achievement relevant to clinical dentistry, and at a national level, in the scholarship of teaching and/or research or professional activity
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships and networks
