We are now seeking an exceptional person to join us as our Executive Dean of the Faculty of Business, Government and Law. The Faculty is home to the Canberra Law School, Canberra Business School and the Canberra School of Politics, Economics and Society along with the Centre for Environmental Governance, the Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance, as well as research and outreach hubs in social and economic modelling and promotion of women in leadership.

The Faculty is committed to its three core principles of enterprise and innovation, social value and responsibility and sustainability and aims to lead multi-disciplinary research and teaching in these areas. Its teaching and research are focused particularly in the nexus between business and government.

As Executive Dean, you will be an accomplished leader who can inspire others to flourish.  Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), the Executive Dean is responsible for overall management, strategic direction, quality and performance of the Faculty, including research, learning and teaching, student experience and financial outcomes. The Executive Dean is also expected to contribute to, and show leadership in relation to, the implementation of the University Strategy and outreach and engagement activities.
