The University of Bradford School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences is seeking to appoint a 0.4 FTE Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice to strengthen our sector-leading teaching of Clinical Pharmacy at the postgraduate level. The key objective of this postholder will be to act as module leader for at least one module on the MSc/PG Diploma Foundation Pharmacy Practice and MSc/PG Diploma Advanced Pharmacy Practice programme lead. The postholder will organise, develop and deliver study days and assessments to prepare students for the new and innovative roles of the future. The postholder will also have the opportunity to get involved with undergraduate teaching on the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm programme).
The post holder will be an experienced pharmacist practitioner with prior experience of teaching pharmacists or pharmacy students. Applicants should have a professional background that includes working in patient-facing roles. You should hold a relevant postgraduate qualification. You will join a truly innovative School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, with a suite of postgraduate programmes, a fully integrated MPharm based on Team-Based Learning (TBL) and excellence in research. You will be an experienced and enthusiastic teacher and take a proactive role in developing new learning materials alongside our highly experienced and supportive team. An independent prescribing qualification is an advantage.

Starting salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. This is a part time position; 0.4 FTE.
