BNU – HKBU UNITED INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE (UIC)

UIC, jointly established by Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University in 2005, is the first full-scale collaboration between academic institutions from mainland China and Hong Kong. As a liberal arts college, UIC's education encourages a high level of student-faculty interaction and collaboration. UIC is located in the proximity of Zhuhai, a city which is not only environmental-friendly but also plays a key role in the “Greater Bay Area (GBA)” initiative. Centre for Evaluation Studies

Centre for Evaluation Studies (jointly established by BNU and UIC) follows China’s national strategy of innovation and development, and stands at the international forefront of knowledge and technology. The Centre aims to forge a collaborative platform for cutting-edge evaluation research by combining research efforts and insights by universities and by societies at large, both in China and abroad. The Centre specializes in exploring and solving the most challenging problems in the current evaluation research field, such as complex object evaluation, research evaluation, sustainability evaluation, influential network evaluation, etc. The Centre engages in a comprehensive range of activities such as consultation & evaluation, scientific research, and talent cultivation. The Centre aims to develop into a research and service institution in the field of evaluation research with significant global impact.

Job Description

Centre for Evaluation Studies is now inviting suitable candidates to apply for the above positions. For a candidate applying for a senior position, s/he should be established researchers or scholars of international stature with expertise in a relevant field. S/He is expected to take a role of intellectual leadership, apply the expertise to explore and solve complex challenging problems in the current evaluation research field, and teach some course in the UIC Business School. For a candidate applying for a junior position, s/he is expected to learn how to apply her/his expertise to evaluation field and teach some courses. 

All successful candidates will also hold corresponding teaching positions in the Business School of UIC.

Job Requirement

Candidates should have a PhD in a related field such as (but not limited to) operational research, business analytic, data sciences, research management, econometrics, performance measurement, bibliometrics, cognitive diagnosis assessment, and information science. For a candidate applying for a senior position, s/he should have recognized achievements in a related discipline.
