We are seeking an experienced clinical academic with extensive specialist clinical experience and program coordination and/or undergraduate teaching in the field of endodontics.
The appointee will provide academic leadership to the endodontic program and contribute significantly to the teaching and administration of the discipline. Primary teaching duties will include the integration of pre-clinical and clinical teaching in the Bachelor of Dental Science program.
The appointee will have a record of published research relevant to endodontics which will enable progression of an active research profile aligned with the University Strategy 2030.
This position is required for face-to-face and online teaching and as such remote work options are not available. Generous assistance, including financial, is available to help you relocate to Orange NSW to take up this leadership opportunity.
To be successful you will have:
- Full registration as an Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) or, for overseas applicants, evidence of eligibility for limited registration as a dentist with Ahpra.
- A doctoral qualification relevant to endodontics and a record of research achievement of national and/or international standing.
- A postgraduate specialist qualification or equivalent certification in endodontics relevant to endodontic clinical practice.
- Comprehensive understanding of clinical practice in endodontics and significant experience in teaching pre-clinical and/or supervising clinical cases in an undergraduate context relevant to the discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering and leading others in the delivery of high quality, student centred learning and teaching, and building professional networks and people capabilities in an academic setting.
