Job Description
The Department of Pathology, National University of Singapore, invites applications for the below position:
Research Assistant
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join us as a Research Assistant in Dr. Ding Lingwen’s group in Department of Pathology, NUS.
The candidate will assist the team in research activities, including performing experiments (e.g., sample processing, real time PCR and western blot, mouse xenograft experiments, etc.); and providing lab management and support for existing and ongoing projects.
The candidate will learn and conduct experiments related to PD1 cancer immunotherapy and mRNA cancer vaccine, and will be exposed to latest cutting-edge technologies such as CRISPR library screening and NGS sequencing etc.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated, hardworking and have a passion for research.
- Degree in life sciences or equivalent.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in molecular biology would be an added advantage.
