Job Description
Applications are invited for the following full-time position in the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health:
Research Assistant
The Health Intervention and Policy Evaluation Research Centre (HIPER) (https://hiper.nus.edu.sg/) at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH), NUS, is seeking to hire research staff with project management skills to support the following areas:
- Own and be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, meeting requirements and within allocated budget
- Coordinate and work closely with research PIs from multiple sites across Singapore
- Provide grant processing support for claims and report submissions
- Facilitate grant verification and variation submissions
- Strategize and provide administrative support for multi-site research agreements and ethics board review
- Oversee submission of progress and final reports, and ensure proper closure of completed research projects
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the clinical partners and academic stakeholders, through meeting management and creation of high-quality oral and written communications content
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
Qualifications
- Recognised degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Strong administrative and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience or interest in behavioural and implementation science
- Experience in Human Biomedical Research (HBR) and ethics review will be beneficial
- Experience in research within restructured hospitals preferably within the NUHS cluster
- Responsible and independent, with the ability to work in a team
