We are now seeking to appoint the Executive Director of Student and Academic Services who will be responsible for delivering an excellent experience throughout the student lifecycle. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Executive Director is a member of the university’s senior executive team and leads c150 staff across Student Centres, Student Services and Student Registry. The post holder will work closely with the Deputy Vice Chancellor & Provost to deliver the Student Success sub strategy and will lead the establishment of a high performance, customer service culture in a phase of rapid growth in the Student and Academic Services team.

You will be an experienced leader of relevant services in higher education, with demonstrable experience of delivering change and service improvement. You will be an outstanding people manager, able to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, and an excellent communicator, able to build relationships with colleagues across the university. You will also bring strong digital skills and the ability to use data to support decision making. You will be a passionate advocate for students and will be aligned with our values: inclusive, collaborative and impactful.
