As we enter an exciting and ambitious growth phase under our current University Strategy, we do so with strong leadership and renewed vision and clarity. Our people are at the front and centre of our efforts and we are now seeking an exceptional and inspirational Director of People, Culture and Wellbeing to own and lead the People Strategy development and implementation, bringing a dynamic, innovative, and creative approach. A crucial member of the University’s Leadership Team and reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, the new Director will be responsible for delivering high-performing human resources services and will be transformational in the design and delivery of our workforce needs and innovative in their approach to further developing the culture, community and environment in which we operate. We seek someone who shares our values, a strong leader, motivator, and cultural role model, who demonstrates high levels of accountability and flexibility, and who can turn strategy into delivery and impact.
The successful candidate will possess significant HR & OD leadership experience, gained in a large, complex organisation at a requisite level of seniority. They will bring a track record of driving an impactful, high-performing, customer-focussed, human resource services that support change and growth and delivers continual improvement across a broad range of stakeholders. A proven ability to enhance staff engagement, advance equality, diversity and inclusion and deliver high-quality, value-for-money outcomes will also be vital.
