Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Research Fellow within UCD School of Medicine/Systems Biology Ireland

University College Dublin (UCD) is seeking applications for a Research Fellow position to work on developing personlised network models in cancer at Systems Biology Ireland (SBI).

The successful applicant will be part of Kolch Group at SBI (https://www.ucd.ie/sbi/team/groups/kolchgroup/) working closely with other computational modellers, in addition to experimentalists and clinical/research students. The Research Fellow will take on a leadership role on projects focused on the analysis and modelling of cancer signalling pathways and the development of digital twin models.

To be successful in the role, the Research Fellow will need to be experienced in computational modelling of biological systems, including dynamic mechanistic models and AI/ML approaches. The fellow will be expected to have experience of working with collaborators from different disciplines, be self-motivated and be able to independently develop and execute project-related aims. The postholder will have the opportunity to build a research group but is also expected to participate in collaborative modelling projects with other SBI groups.

Research Fellow Salary Range: 60,412 - 65,828 per annum

Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
