Applications are invited for the above exciting, full-time permanent post working in the School of Medical and Health Sciences, Bangor University, available on a teaching and research track. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in a subject area relevant to cancer biology or cancer pharmacology and have relevant postdoctoral or equivalent experience.

The successful candidate will have a track record of attracting external research funding and have world-leading or internationally excellent publications in their subject area. They will provide direction to the dynamic, thriving research environment of the cancer research group, and benefit from access to state of the art laboratory facilities. The post-holder will have the opportunity to synergise with cancer biology, drug discovery and pharmacogenomics initiatives within the School to further develop their demonstrable research success. The recent Research Excellence Framework results indicated that 95% of our research outputs are internationally-excellent or world-leading.

The post-holder will also contribute to driving the success of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, including formal taught modules, small study groups and co-ordination/delivery of Masters research projects. The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible.
