• Our project entitled Transition Metal Assisted UP Conversion in Lanthanide doped (nano)particles: Resolving the mechanisms in spectral and temporal domains has an open position of Research assistant to complete the current team. Specifically, this position involves nanoparticles synthesis, structural characterization and optical spectroscopy related experiments.
• Job Description: The successful candidate will work in optical spectroscopy domain and synthesis of lanthanide and transitional metal ions doped nanoparticles.

The main activities of the candidate consist of:

1. Configuring the experimental setup and acquisition of optical spectroscopy measurements such as: emission spectra, excitation spectra, decay, the dependence of emission intensity with the laser pulse energy, etc.;

2. Synthesis of NaLnF₄ and LiLnF₄ nanoparticles synthesis using thermal decomposition method;

3. Contribution to the writing of scientific reports;
