Vacancy Number: 16205BR

As part of the strategic development of the School of Engineering, we currently have 3 positions available for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer with expertise in one or a combination of the following areas: Civil, Mechanical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The successful candidates will join the internationally recognised School of Engineering of Cardiff University. The School has an exciting new cross-discipline Year 1 starting in Sept 2023.  The key features of the new Year 1 are: large integrated modules (to diversify student understanding and develop multi-disciplinary applications); guiding students through large open-ended multi-disciplinary team-projects; and developing inquisitive and creative problem-solving approaches to engineering problems.  The new appointments are intended to principally support, and potentially take leading roles in, this new provision.

All 3 positions are full time, available immediately and are open ended.

Senior Lecturer - £53,353 - £61,823 per annum (Grade 8 - Teaching and Scholarship)

The level of the appointment made will be dependent on the relevant experience of the candidate. When applying for the position please can you indicate the grade you are applying for in your supporting statement.
